“WITHIN SILENCE ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM “THE ECLIPSE OF WORLDS”

The melodic power metal band WITHIN SILENCE will release their new album “THE ECLIPSE OF WORLDS” via Ulterium Records on December 6th. The album will be available on CD, limited vinyl editions and digital. “Battle Hymn”, the first single from the album will be released on October 10.

Since their inception, Within Silence has established a formidable presence in the power metal scene with the release of their debut album, “Gallery of Life” (2015) and its follow-up, “Return from the Shadows” (2017), both released on the Swedish label Ulterium Records. The two albums received enthusiastic feedback from fans worldwide, contributing to the band’s steadily growing following.

Over the years, the band has played many shows in Slovakia and around Europe, including festivals in Germany, Norway, the Netherlands and Switzerland. In 2016 they supported Theocracy on their “Ghost Ship European Tour” and in 2018 they supported Sleeping Romance on their “Alba European Tour”.

After many years of hard work, Within Silence are now finally back with their third album “The Eclipse of Worlds”. The guys set out to write and record their most epic, memorable and uplifting album so far and when you hear the album we believe you will agree that they succeeded!

On the album, you’ll find everything from fast and uplifting melodic power metal hymns like “Battle Hymn” and “Divine Power” to the atmospheric ballad “Storyline,” as well as the powerful and epic title track. The majestic album closer, “When Worlds Collide,” clocks in at over 12 minutes and may well be the best song Within Silence has released to date.

The album was produced and recorded in Slovakia by the band with the support of Jan Cvercko and Jan Kubas. The band enlisted Matt Smith from Theocracy to handle the mixing and Jacob Hansen for mastering. After their expert contributions, it’s safe to say this is Within Silence’s best-sounding album to date, showcasing a production quality that perfectly complements the songs.

“The Eclipse of Worlds” is a powerful and uplifting power metal album that will appeal to fans of melodic power metal and heavy metal and bands like Stratovarius, Theocracy, Power Quest and Majestica!

We are very happy to announce the release of our new Christmas single “Flame of Peace”! The single is available on all digital platforms.

Richard Germanus of Within Silence comments:
“We decided to record a Christmas single this year as we wanted to give you all something uplifting and hopeful in these uncertain times. The melodies of the song inspired me to write lyrics speaking about peace during the Christmas time. Are you one of the fortunate people who can enjoy Christmas in peace? This should be the time of joy and happiness and it’s so sad that while some of us enjoy Christmas Eve with our loved ones, there are people struggling and maybe even forget about Christmas. It’s not only about this day but what is a better time for peace than “the time of peace”? Everyone should have the right to live in peace, everywhere. Let’s think about those in need this Christmas and light a candle and pray for them.”

We are currently in the studio working on our third album, to be released in 2023.

Dear fans, You could see our live performance only once this year, but it was a special one as we presented our new line-up. New mates in the band have taken their part in the pre-production of new songs as well. Teamwork feels very good and altogether we made some progress during last Months. At this point we can say that pre-production of album #3 is reaching the final stage and we put finishing touches on lyrics. Seems like the time of recording is coming soon so keep your fingers crossed 😉 At the same moment, we would like to wish you all Merry Christmas and a happy new year! Dear fans, please welcome Majo Gonda to the Within Silence family. We are very looking forward to the cooperation with this talented guitarist! 

Let us inform you about the change in WS line-up as our mate Martin Cico has decided to leave the band due to personal reasons. During those years we’ve experienced lot of fun and shared unforgettable memories. Of course, our friendship will remain and we are very thankful for Martin’s contribution to the Within Silence. Martin was always reliable guitarist and his footprint will stay with us! It was a pleasure to have him in the band and we wish him all the best in personal and professional life!

Richard presents his new custom guitar from Siggi Braun – Fine Young Guitars. “The Final Victory” is taken from the album “Return From The Shadows” and was rearranged, remixed and remastered for this purpose by Ján Čverčko. All the guitar tracks were rerecorded by Richard with the custom guitar model “Angel Wing 7” presented in this video. Enjoy!

This year was a little bit calmer from our side, but we are still here! Today, we would like to share some big news with you. We found a new drummer! It is our pleasure to welcome Peter Pleva to the Within Silence family. We are looking forward to our cooperation with him as there is plenty exciting work ahead of us! Dear fans, We want to inform you that we parted our ways with our current drummer Peter Gacik. Despite this turn of events, we would like to thank him for his contribution to the band.
